<strong>The opportunity</strong><p><br></p><strong>Project:</strong> This is an opportunity to work on a large hospitality project in one of the emirates of the UAE.<p><br></p>Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.<p><br></p><strong><u>Your Responsibilities Will Include</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Managing and participating in planning and coordination meetings with engineering design and construction professionals. </li><li>Attending routine and ad-hoc construction meetings as deemed necessary to advance engineering design and construction works. </li><li>Undertaking on-site construction observations and inspections for all ELV services and equipment and ensuring relevant documentation of these activities. </li><li>Reviewing payment applications and change order requests and presenting recommendations for action based on specific knowledge of the status of site works. </li><li>Coordinating site visits and property inspections for senior management and relevant others. </li><li>Compiling pre-final and final inspection punch lists of ELV services and equipment and overseeing the timely rectification of deficiencies and the successful completion and handover of completed systems and equipment. </li><li>Maintaining oversight of and participating in building a start-up and commissioning for all ELV services systems and equipment. </li><li>Maintaining daily or weekly progress and observation notes regarding site inspections and observations, meetings, and discussions. </li><li>Ensuring coordination and scheduling for the training of Wynn Marjan Island engineering management and staff regarding the operation and maintenance of ELV services systems and equipment. </li><li>Coordinating WDD project completion requirements including the collection of close-out documents including testing and commissioning, final adjustments and settings, and warranty information. </li><li>Coordinating the compiling and distribution of systems and equipment warranty documentation to Wynn Marjan Island upon successful completion of testing and commissioning. </li><li>Coordinating and communicating with Wynn Marjan Island management and staff to ensure an effective exchange of information regarding ELV services and system, maintainability, and functional operations. </li><li>Performing other construction-related duties as assigned. </li><li>Maintaining effective oversight of subordinate employees ensuring adherence to work quality, schedules, and company policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintaining effective liaison with the general contractor representatives ensuring adherence to WDD requirements. </li><li>Overseeing coordination, construction, testing, and commissioning of all ELV systems and equipment. </li><li>Conducting regular reviews of schematic designs, design development, and construction documents prior to and during the implementation of works. </li><li>Assisting in the development of timelines and schedules to facilitate engineering design, implementation, construction, testing, and commissioning. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>About You</u></strong><p><br></p>You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
