Job Description

The main role of the Maintenance Lead Technician is to be responsible of the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Passenger Loading Bridges (PLBs) and auxiliary equipment.

The main job duties of the Maintenance Lead Technician are the following ones.

1. To attend and discuss the toolbox talks which are conducted on daily basis.

2. To capture the mishandling on usage of our assets by ground handlers on daily basis.

3. To support the other teams a required by the superiors on circumstantial basis.

4. To report issues and tasks performed during the shift to the immediate superior before leaving the shift on daily basis.

5. To perform a complete handover of assets (pick up, radio, tools, key bunch…) and a complete handover of the systems (pending jobs, work orders, incidents, technical issues, monitoring…) as per assigned location on daily basis.

6. To coordinate with previous shift, the pending jobs in terms of technical issues through verbal and written briefing on daily basis.

7. To follow up and execute the pending activities as discussed during the shift handover on daily basis.

8. To follow the planned job allocation on daily basis.

9. To follow up and execute the pending activities as reported by the immediate superiors on daily basis.

10. To follow up and execute the snags as per check lists and maintain the snag master list on circumstantial basis.

11. To follow up and execute pending work orders on circumstantial basis.

12. To comply with the Airport Safety and Security Rules and Regulations and the internal safety rules and procedures of TKE on daily basis.

13. To wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times when working at site on ad hoc basis.
