Electrical Assistant Technician
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy in which the Contract in his 7th year multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of a large Industrial Area
Client satisfaction concluded by One year extension of the project contract with manpower number increased
The candidate starts with general skills like :
Reading drawings, Single line diagram, general maintenance of different electrical systems and equipment (HV, LV, Power transformers, Protection relays, earth and grounding systems, UPS, Capacitor banks, etc…)
Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.
Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving,
The candidate concludes with important abilities including Safe work culture and practices
Your main duties will be to:-
Plant maintenance experience on HV Substations, switchboards up to 6.6kV, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities are required. Experience that includes PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation and the use of computer based man-machine interfaces is preferred. Switching and operating experience on plant at 415V, 6.6kV, 11KV, 33kV and 132kV is highly desirable. Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
Profile
Ideally you will have an electrical qualification (diploma / Degree in engineering from a recognized institution Trade certificate) with 03 year experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or in a similar system and facility.
You will be demanded to realize the following activities and tasks
-Troubleshooting of all kind of electrical trips & alarm (HV, LV, Power transformers, etc..)
-Application of general maintenance (Insulation resistance, winding resistance, busduct, etc…
– Interlock system LOTO
– Routine test and inspections of electrical system and equipment
Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English.
