Job Description

We are looking for a talented and skilled Electrical and Automation Planner to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for the efficient administration and progression of the Planned – Maintenance Scheme thru the proper use of SAP technology.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:

  • Ensures compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements by reviewing and updating the department’s procedures and documents.
  • Preparation of preventive maintenance schedules (SAP – Plant Maintenance), including the revision of these, as necessary, in the light of operational experience.
  • Preparation of corrective maintenance schedules (SAP – Plant Maintenance) which includes manpower, materials, tools spare parts, timing and time required.
  • The planning of maintenance jobs (SAP – Plant Maintenance) relating to and arising from regular and routine inspection.
  • To check that all completed work order (SAP – Plant Maintenance) and to draw to the Electrical & Electronic Shift In-Charge’s attention to any instances where information appears to be incorrect.
  • The compilation of the plant history records from information arising from tradesmen’s inspection, repair and daily downtime report (SAP – Plant Maintenance).
  • To maintain a record of all outstanding maintenance work (SAP – Plant Maintenance) and positively ensure that this is kept up to date. This includes the upkeep of the work order.
  • Preparation and updating of Master Data for all equipment thru the SAP technology
  • To prepare a weekly and monthly analysis of top ten machines involving the largest number of jobs. This includes preparation of Level 1 and Level 2 loss of output report.
  • Preparation of Electrical Maintenance Department weekly, monthly and annual performance report.
  • Preparation, Release, Updating and Monitoring of Electrical Department (SAP – Materials Management) Purchase Requisitions, Service-PR, Internal Job Requests, Service Entry Sheet, Spares & General Consumables, etc..
  • Coordinating with other departments in relation to size change, roughing mill roll change and annual shutdown activities.
  • Attends and participates in Departmental meetings as required by the management.
  • Proper safekeeping of documents and drawings.
  • Works in accordance with company rules and regulations.
  • Performs other tasks and duties that maybe assigned by his superior.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant HSE Procedures.
