CP staff including coaching, sharing resources and materials, revision of reports, analyzing lessons, etc</li><li>Support the education and child protection specialists in providing technical expertise, quality assurance and support for WV education programmes (for both grants and Sponsorship), ensuring they are of high quality with reliable data and outcomes.</li><li>Continuously follow up with Education and child protection field staff on their capacity building needs and report back to the specialists for needs to be integrated in the capacity building plan.</li><li>In close collaboration with the education and child protection specialist, develop sectors measurement tools in collaboration with the MEAL team.</li><li>Ensure integration and coordination between education and child protection in integrated projects</li><li>Conduct regular observations for classrooms and field level activities such (ECE, BLN, PSS session, community groups, councils) provide recommendations to Program Manager, project Coordinators and technical specialist.</li><li>Set meetings with the Program Managers and Coordinators to follow up on the implementation and to address the challenges they are facing.</li><li>Ensure technical assessments are other requirements are conducted properly and on time.</li><li>Support the technical specialists in compiling the needed Education and Child protection Curricula. </li><li>Ensure that the referral mechanisms and policies are being implemented as per the standard.</li><li>Prepare the schedule for the delivery of the curriculum and follow up constantly to make sure that timeline is respected in alignment to the general project timeline and deliverables</li><li>Intervene, when necessary, at procurement level, to facilitate/find solutions to material purchase difficulties or delays that are affecting the program quality implementation.</li><li>Review grant progress reports and M&amp;E reports specifically, program findings and recommendations.</li><li>Support the Safeguarding Focal Point in PSEA to ensure that our response to SEA requirements is addressed in a timely manner.</li><li>Act as RIMS focal point:</li><li>Lead on the coordination, capacity building and engagement with RIMS reporting, ensuring staff are supported, errors are identified and addressed and missing or false data is followed up on to improve referral efficiency and the humanitarian response.</li><li>Attend the Advisory Panel discussions.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Build the capacity of field Operations team on Edu and CP </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Train and coach the staff on the Education and Child Protection curricula and approaches;</li><li>Train the teachers, facilitators and animators on the pre-approved curriculum that should be delivered, its objectives and expected learning outcomes</li><li>Provide the education and child protection staff and partner staff with capacity building trainings based the developed professional development planhttps://www.edu-links.org/topics/education-and-climate</li><li>Contribute to donor reports and regular reporting on capacity building activities implemented.</li><li>Prepare ToR for capacity building or other related activities including meeting with consultants and following up on the implementation plan and deliverables.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Contribute in Networking and External Engagement</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>In close collaboration with the EDU and CP specialist, position WV as a reputable organization in child protection in Lebanon</li><li>Actively participate in national level working groups (CP/ EDU)</li><li>Participate in National workshops, training and internal WVL meetings, workshops, etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Support in Proposal Development</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>With the support of the EDU &amp; CP specialist, develop the technical/sectoral components of new proposals (development), in consultation with GAM, MEAL, and Operations.</li><li>Provide technical input to the design, with GAM and Operations, for potential new proposals in Education and Child Protection based on emerging vulnerabilities.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Perform Other Duties As Required</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Attend and participate in WVL’s spiritual nurture and other organizational events</li><li>Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture</li><li>Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.</li><li>Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge/Qualification for the Role</strong><ul><li>Three to five years of technical expertise in the areas of protection, child protection and education</li><li>Experience in capacity building processes, tools and methodologies</li><li>Two years or more NGO experience in the development field</li><li>Experience working in advocacy, campaigning, policy formulation and systems reform</li><li>Creative and able to come up with, embrace and coordinate innovative thinking, partnership building and problem solving skills;</li><li>Experience and willingness to take initiatives in the following areas: Protection principles, ICRC Code of conduct, Protection mainstreaming, PSEA, Child Protection, System Approach</li><li>A familiarity and understanding of</li><ul><li>Psychosocial, child abuse and neglect issues, Advocacy on the Rights of the Child including the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child (both in national and community level.</li><li>Child Development</li><li>Education programs</li><li>Community based psychosocial program</li></ul><li>Good analytical and writing skills;</li><li>Good interpersonal skills, influencing skills and cross-cultural sensitivity;</li><li>Able to work on multifunctional tasks in the pressure of time and organizational changes;</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Applicant Types Accepted</u></strong><p><br></p>Local Applicants Only
