<p><strong>The role will involve:</strong></p><p>1. <span>Generating business and increasing revenues through sales of Drilling Fluids products and services –growing GCC territories.</span></p><p>2. <span>Uncovering opportunities and making credible sales presentations to an audience largely unfamiliar with the product line</span></p><p>3. <span>Developing relationships and maintaining contact with key decision makers within the target customer base – Drilling Managers, Drilling Engineers/Superintendents, and Drilling Fluid Specialists with Multinational and Local Operators and other influencers/users</span></p><p>4. <span>Working closely with Sales Managers, Field Engineers, and Customer Service team to manage the territory</span></p><p>5. <span>Developing and implementing customer presentations and bids as required</span></p><p>6. <span>Balancing commercial drive with the requirement to conduct all business activities in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, including Legal and Compliance requirements</span></p><p>7. <span>Use expert knowledge of Drilling Fluids to ensure correct product application</span></p><p>8. <span>Technical Support visits to both off-shore and on-shore drilling rig locations in order to implement and maintain/monitor Lost Circulation Material and drilling chemical programs and provide recommendations in the event of problems</span></p><p>9. <span>Producing reports for the Customer with a copy to the Regional Sales Director detailing conditions found, test results in relation to Key Performance Indicators, and remedial action taken or necessary if unable to complete at the time of the visit</span></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>1. <span>BSc Engineering, Chemistry, or another science-related discipline (or international equivalent)</span></p><p>2. <span>10 to 15 years of experience and demonstrable success in the sale and marketing of Drilling Fluids, with an established network of contacts within the industry.</span></p><p>3. <span>A ‘hands-on,’ practical approach and willingness to work anti-social hours and travel for extended periods</span></p><p>4. <span>Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised in what will be a pressurized environment with challenging targets</span></p><p><br></p>
