You’ll be responsible for purchases to support customer-related business processes and internal use, ensuring the best value for the company.</li><li>Efficient Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering, to ensure smooth scheduling and movement of goods and supplies.</li><li>Problem Solving: Identify and address defects and delivery issues with suppliers, taking charge of negotiations for refunds when necessary.</li><li>Document Management: Create and manage basic procurement documents such as RFQs and POs, while maintaining organized electronic capital procurement files.</li><li>Procurement Strategy: Coordinate with the Project Procurement Manager and capital project team members to develop and execute the Project Procurement Plan (PPP).</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements/Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A bachelorβs degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in order to flow goals and directives and effectively communicate commercial solutions and concepts to procurement personnel and non-procurement personnel.</li><li>Ability to work in a complex schedule-driven work environment.</li><li>Candidates must have strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>R2073526</strong>
