The Director of Strategic Planning, Urban Analytics &amp; Executive Reporting plays a critical role in leading and overseeing the strategic planning, urban analytics, and executive reporting functions for the Program. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making, and providing comprehensive executive reporting to support effective governance and program management.<br> <br>Responsibilities:<br> <ul><li>Develop and implement the strategic planning framework and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.</li> <li>Lead the strategic planning process, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define strategic priorities, identify opportunities, and establish performance metrics and targets.</li> <li>Utilize urban analytics and data-driven insights to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks that impact the organization’s strategic objectives.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze data, develop models, and generate actionable insights to support informed decision-making.</li> <li>Oversee the development and maintenance of executive reporting mechanisms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key performance indicators, milestones, and progress against strategic objectives.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver high-quality executive reports and presentations, providing clear and concise information on program performance, risks, and opportunities to support effective governance and decision-making at the executive level.</li> <li>Develop and implement processes for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for adjustments, as necessary.</li> <li>Lead a team of professionals within the strategic planning, urban analytics, and executive reporting functions, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure alignment and integration of strategic planning efforts with other organizational initiatives and priorities.</li> <br></ul><strong>Additional Information<br></strong> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Urban Planning) or equivalent. A master’s degree preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 20 years of proven experience in a senior-level role overseeing strategic planning, urban analytics, and executive reporting, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.</li> <li>Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable plans and initiatives.</li> <li>Deep understanding of urban analytics, data analysis, and data visualization techniques.</li> <li>Proficiency in using data analytics tools and software to derive insights and support decision-making.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to executive stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in developing and implementing executive reporting mechanisms, including dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.</li> <li>Knowledge of program management principles and practices, with a focus on strategic alignment and performance management.</li> <br></ul><strong>PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS BASED IN A REMOTE LOCATION<br></strong> <br>With infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and there’s never been a better time to be at AECOM!
