Rixos Qetaifan Island North
Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Director of Waterpark Operations
The Director of Operations will plan, organize, direct and coordinate management activities of the operations in conjunction with the General Manager. He/she is responsible for delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the park. The Director of Operations will take on responsibility for the waterpark in the absence of the General Manager.

What you will be doing:
– Develop, recommend, implement and manage the operational department’s annual and long-term goals
– Conduct daily briefing with management on current key activities
– Ensures optimal compliance with corporate focus audit, local health and safety, and other statutory regulations
– To manage operational efficiency in the Waterpark to enhance the Guest experience and reduce operational costs
– Anticipate and address guest issues, establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction
– Communicate in an effective and timely manner with General Manager
– To manage emergency situations that may arise in order to minimize possible damage, loss, or injury to any guests, Heartist or Company property
– To regularly observe the team in the operation, review operational performance and lead the team to success
– Be visible around the waterpark and show an active interest in our colleagues’ welfare
– Oversee Aquatics, Attractions, F&B, Merchandise, and Park Services operations and support security team in achieving overall efficiency and safety in the waterpark
