Job Description

Five Star Luxury Hotel in Abu Shabi is looking for anexperienced, motivated, passionate and energetic Director of Sales & Marketing

Reporting to the General Manager you will lead & manage the sales team to efficiently exceed budget, achieve fair market share, setting up strategies, acquire new accounts & penetrates new markets. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train & support the sales team.
  • Lead, direct and manage all groups, transients, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel.
  • Manage the daily operation of the Sales & marketing department.
  • Setting up sales & marketing strategies including measurable targets.
  • Acquiring new accounts locally and internationally by implementing aggressive & active market coverage actions plan.
  • Expanding currently covered markets in new potential ones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in hotel management or business administration.
  • Previous experience as Director of Sales & Marketing in the hotels industry at the UAE.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with ability to motivate, coach and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills & computer knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of sales & revenue management in the UAE Market with proven records plus all other potential ones.
