With over 4,000 employees, Kitopi currently operates 200+ locations across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, and runs its engineering hub in Krakow, Poland, its robotics hub in Denmark, and its global customer experience center in Dubai, UAE.
Together with the Product, Engineering, Data, AI, and Robotic departments, we are creating various applications starting from highly personalized selling apps (web & mobile), through the kitchen management system, customer service, delivery, control, and business applications which help us to make decisions and determine the further direction of product development and more. We currently have around 40 applications in microservice architecture and we will constantly be creating new ones.
As the Director of Product – Consumer, you will lead and guide a talented team of five product managers, playing a crucial role in building out the consumer vertical of our business. Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and drive the vision and strategy for the consumer-oriented products that our customers interface with, including our dine-in product, customer experience, loyalty, aggregator partnerships, and meal plan subscription business.
Your exceptional leadership and customer-centric approach will help us enhance and improve the consumer experience. We are looking for a leader who can identify user needs, envision and implement innovative product offerings to meet those needs and drive the next phase of Kitopi’s impressive growth. + Develop end-to-end product vision and strategy in close collaboration with partners in our growth, brand management, and customer experience teams.
+ Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team, cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment for them to learn and thrive.
+ Own and drive cross-functional product initiatives, reporting to senior leadership on a regular basis.
+ Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment with company objectives and to optimize product offerings for our customers.
+ Collaborate effectively with our engineering team based in Poland and demonstrate a willingness to travel occasionally to facilitate this collaboration.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, constantly exploring new ways to enhance our consumer-oriented products and improve the overall consumer experience.
+ Proven track record over multiple years as an individual contributor product manager responsible for the value and viability of solutions.
+ Proven ability to go deep and quickly learn new domains, as well as a solid understanding of all major parts of the business.
+ Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
+ Proven track record of coaching and developing other people.
+ Experience in consumer-facing technology and/or loyalty is a plus.
+ Proven ability to engage with both individual contributors and leaders of all levels in constructive and collaborative relationships.
+ Demonstrate servant-based leadership and knowledge of leading by context rather than control.
+ Responsible for assisting with quarterly planning and assigning objectives (problems to solve) to product teams
+ Strong communication skills and ability to navigate an ever-evolving, matrixed organization across multiple offices/time zones where priorities are often in competition.
