The People and Development team is responsible for attracting, recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing employees to ensure that they provide high-quality services to the guests. The team play a significant role in ensuring that all employees are motivated and productive, and that all processes are in compliance with the labor law.<br><br>We are currently recruiting an experienced Director of People &amp; Development / Director of Human Resources to join our team at The Ned Doha. Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters. </li><li>Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the hotel’s recruitment and selection process, including advertising job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Ensure that the hotel has a qualified and diverse workforce. </li><li>Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by developing and implementing effective employee engagement programs, policies, and initiatives. Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner. </li><li>Performance Management: Develop and administer performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and performance improvement plans. Provide guidance and support to managers in effectively managing employee performance. </li><li>Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Coordinate with department managers to ensure that employees receive appropriate training and development opportunities. </li><li>Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the hotel’s compensation and benefits. <br><br></li></ul>Qualifications:<br><ul><li>Previous experience in the same role at a luxury property</li><li>Hands-on, enthusiastic and motivational are words which describe you best</li><li>Ability to lead, multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment</li><li>IT skills such as using hr and recruitment systems, Outlook, office system and touchscreen devices</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills</li><li>Proven ability to build and develop a motivated and dedicated team<br><br></li></ul>Friendliness, efficiency and a β€˜can-do’ attitude are what people have come to expect when they visit us and our success will depend on your willingness to go that extra mile.
