Director of IPT – Institute for Private Training<br><br>(Director of Continuing Education Programs)<br><br>American International University – Kuwait City<br><br>American International University (AIU) is looking for a dynamic and engaged full-time Director of Institute for Private Training. We seek an individual who is passionate about mentoring and working with young adults, fomenting mental health and behavioral health services for students.<br><br><strong><u>Job Summary<br><br></u></strong>The Director acts as the senior administrative officer for the Continuing Education Program. The Director will implement and lead comprehensive noncredit and for-credit programs. The incumbent will seek to service the general public and support training and professional development for local and regional business, government, non-profit, and professional communities.<br><br>Working with the Executive Director of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies and the Continuing and Professional Education staff, the Director will exercise creativity, leadership, and a strong entrepreneurial orientation to develop or stimulate the development of comprehensive noncredit and for-credit programs that have strong appeal and are financially viable.<br><br>The incumbent will lead the efforts of marketing, outreach activities, and promotion of the offered programs. He/she will lead, direct, and support all aspects of the Program, including Registration. The Director will also be responsible for staff, including but not limited to hiring, training, and management/supervision.<br><br><strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li> A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Public Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field; Master’s Degree Preferred</li><li> At least five years in Continuing Education and/or Event Planning, Corporate Training, Marketing OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.<br></li></ul>About American International University:<br><br>AIU is a new institution of higher education in Kuwait whose first student cohort was admitted in fall 2019.
