Careem operates in over 70 cities across 10 countries, from Morocco to Pakistan.<br><br><strong><u>What You’ll Do<br><br></u></strong>As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of all of our vertical businesses at Careem. You will be responsible for leading the Growth function and spearheading Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for market entry into new countries. This position requires an analytical and strategic thinker with a strong background in growth marketing, team leadership, and CRM.<br><br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Growth Strategy and Implementation:</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to optimize customer engagement and retention. </li><li>Establish systems, tools, and processes to support data-driven marketing initiatives. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer segments and personalize communication strategies. </li><li>Monitor and analyze key growth metrics like consumer activation, customer cross sell, upsell, and customer retention to identify areas for improvement and optimize customer journeys. </li></ul> <strong><strong>What you’ll need<br></strong></strong><ul><li>Go-to-Market Planning: </li><li>Lead the development of GTM plans for launching our products/services in new countries. </li><li>Conduct market research to identify target audiences, competitive landscape, and market trends. </li><li>Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging and positioning. </li><li>Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. </li><li>Team Leadership: </li><li>Lead a high-performing team of growth marketers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. </li><li>Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. </li><li>Set clear goals and performance expectations, ensuring the team’s success in achieving business objectives. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making. </li><li>Growth Marketing Strategies: </li><li>Ideate, devise, and develop growth marketing strategies to maximize the value of existing customers. </li><li>Implement data-driven tactics to optimize customer acquisition, activation, and retention. </li><li>Conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate on campaigns to improve conversion rates. </li><li>Identify and explore new customer segments and journeys that drive sustainable business growth. </li><li> Proven experience as a Director of Growth Marketing or similar role within a B2C technology company. </li><li> Strong expertise in Growth strategy and implementation, with proficiency in CRM and Analytics tools. </li><li> Demonstrated success in developing and executing GTM plans for new market entry. </li><li> Experience in a fast paced matrixed environment working with Product and Marketing teams with a strong commercial mindset </li><li> Building and managing high-performing growth marketing teams. </li><li> Proficiency in data analysis, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. </li><li> Deep understanding of customer-centric marketing principles and best practices. </li><li> Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. </li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li> Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, or a related field <br></li></ul><strong><u>What We’ll Provide You<br><br></u></strong>We offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
