<p>&nbsp;Position: Director of Global Corporate Communications</p><p>Location: DIFC, Dubai, UAE (In Person Role)</p><p>Start Date: Immediately</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Summary of Position:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Job Description is for a Director of Global Corporate Communications based in DIFC, Dubai with at least five years of experience in Public Affairs or International Relations, and expertise in drafting letters and press releases. The ideal candidate must have strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to simplify messaging to diverse audiences. They must also possess excellent organizational and time management skills, a background in corporate communication, and be a self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. Additionally, experience working with Governments is a plus. Experience within the realm of Sustainability, Climate Change, and/or Renewable Energy is a plus.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>β€’ University degree in Communications or International Development</p><p>β€’ Minimum of five years of experience working in public affairs or international relations</p><p>β€’ Preference will be given to qualified candidates who possess one or more of the following:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;o Fluency in other languages</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;o International work experience</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>β€’ Work at our global head office in Dubai and provide government relations and communications support to all development and external engagement activities.</p><p>β€’ Design and update project proposals, corporate presentations, and company marketing collateral as required</p><p>β€’ Draft letters and correspondence on behalf of the company as required</p><p>β€’ Draft press releases and maintain an archive of all external communication generated by the company, including press releases and news stories</p><p>β€’ Support media relations activities and follow through on opportunities to raise the company’s profile in local, national, and international news</p><p>β€’ Create social media posts for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms as deemed necessary</p><p>β€’ Identify and track relevant industry and international development events and communicate relevant opportunities (i.e. training, potential partnerships, speaking engagements) to the International Public Affairs team</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Requirements:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>- Expert command of the English language, enabling precise communication and impactful messaging</p><p>- Extensive knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides to maintain focused on creating impeccable quality in all written materials</p><p>- Ability to transform concepts regarding climate change and renewable energy into simplified, captivating, and persuasive words.</p><p>- Exceptional proofreading skills</p><p>- A keen eye for detail, ensuring overall coherence, flow, and readability of written content</p><p>- Collaborative approach, working closely with leadership and team members.</p><p>- Extremely organized with strong time management skills</p><p>- Digital marketing experience</p><p>- Self-starter that is motivated to work both independently and as part of a team</p><p>- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment</p><p>- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint)</p><p>- Digital Marketing Experience</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
