Our Finance team is analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business with; P&amp;L, cost analysis, inventory control, payroll and everything in between.<br><br>We are currently recruiting an experienced Director of Finance to join our team at The Ned Doha. Conduct financial analysis to assess the hotel’s financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions. </li><li>Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to senior management, ownership, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and internal policies. </li><li>Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the hotel’s budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic budgets and monitor expenditure against budget. Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability. </li><li>Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the hotel’s cash flow, including forecasting cash requirements, optimizing cash inflows, and overseeing cash disbursements. Ensure adequate liquidity to meet financial obligations and support daily operations. </li><li>Financial Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks faced by the hotel, such as currency exchange risks, interest rate risks, and credit risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls. </li><li>Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. <br><br></li></ul>Qualifications:<br><ul><li>Previous experience in the same role at a luxury property</li><li>Hands-on, enthusiastic and motivational are words which describe you best</li><li>Ability to lead, multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment</li><li>IT skills such as using finance and accounting systems, Outlook, MS applications, office system and touchscreen devices</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills</li><li>Proven ability to build and develop a motivated and dedicated team<br><br></li></ul>Friendliness, efficiency and a β€˜can-do’ attitude are what people have come to expect when they visit us and our success will depend on your willingness to go that extra mile.
