DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

We are looking for an experienced and driven Director of Engineering to join our team.

What you will be doing:

  • Holds technical overall responsibility of machinery, technical systems, plants, energy, etc. of the Hotel site.

  • A strong accent must be given to preventive maintenance and to relevant programs to maintain our standards of quality and service and facilities in all departments over which he/she has responsibility and authority.

  • He/she is responsible for the overall smooth, efficient, and economical running of the entire Engineering department.

  • He/she has a perfect understanding & clear vision of the brand’s promise to the guests and is exemplary in manner and behavior.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.

  • Permit to practice the profession from the Syndicate of Engineers.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in 5-star luxury hotels or resorts

  • Thorough knowledge of relevant hotel systems & equipment.

  • Good financial acumen.

  • Native Arabic language.

  • Full professional proficiency in English.

  • Strong professional proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Formal presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in remote locations.
