<p>At University of Prince Mugrin (UPM), we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We’re seeking a <u>Director of eLearning and Educational Technology </u>to develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance the use of e-Learning and educational technology in the University.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Functional Description:</strong></p><p>The Director of eLearning and Educational Technology is responsible to develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance the use of e-Learning and educational technology by faculty and students in addition to effectively lead and manage the department by ensuring all accreditation and regulatory requirements, and aligning efforts with the University’s academic priorities, mission, branding, and institutional learning outcomes.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>PhD or Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related filed.</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years’ experience administering and/or designing courses in a recognized learning management system (LMS).</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in teaching at university or college.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models and open education resources (OER).</li><li>Awareness of different OER platforms, repositories, and licensing options available.</li><li>Proficiency in copyright and intellectual property issues related to OER.</li><li>Ability to deal effectively, cooperatively, and tactfully with faculty, staff, administrators, and students.</li><li>Experience conducting quality reviews of courses using Quality Matters rubrics or other assessment tools.</li><li>Experience providing professional development for faculty related to the processes and technologies for building, conducting, and managing online courses.</li><li>Experience in developing lesson and curriculum plan.</li><li>Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software preferred.</li><li>Ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, students and administrators and IT members.</li><li>Ability to solve technical problems independently or in teams.</li><li>Has a good team spirit and positive attitude.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Application Procedure:</strong></p><p>Please apply online and we will get in touch if the screening committee shortlists you for an interview.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>University of Prince Mugrin</strong> is located in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
