Job Description
<p>The G10 FX&Rates desk is a multi currency, multi product desk which aims to facilitate customer flow in order to grow the FAB franchise. It requires active management to leverage this flow as well as to add alpha through directional positioning of the portfolio.</p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct the G10 desk macro strategy and manage/leverage customer flow to meet and surpass set budget</li><li>Enhance the FX&Rates desk (and Global Markets) in a wholistic manner for example, expanding product offerings, systematic and procedural improvements, mentoring/training of other staff members.</li><li>Support distribution avenues to enhance the flow business<ul><li>Produce market commentary where required</li><li>Provide aggressive pricing to facilitate customer business</li><li>Accompany sales on customer visits, be available for customer calls</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for adhering to assigned risk and stop loss limits</li><li>Responsible for meeting financial and business objectives set by the Head of FX & Rates Products</li><li>Ensure compliance with all appropriate limits including counterparty limits</li><li>Identify and analyze new product opportunities</li><li>Ensure swift and consistent pricing to all internal and external customers</li><li>Expand Counterparty awareness of our capabilities to attract new flows and limits</li><li>Ensure learning framework in place for team members to develop with appropriate teaching schedule and courses</li></ul><p><br><br></p><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum of 4 years experience within the fixed income markets covering the related products</li><li>Minimum education achieved undergraduate degree</li><li>Proven track record of team work</li><li>Proven track record on managing risk effectively and delivering consistent financial performance</li><li>Exceptional technical skills and product knowledge</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Professional attitude and conduct and references to provide such</li></ul>
