Job Description
<p>As a <strong><u>Digital Screens Maintenance Supervisor</u></strong>, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of digital screens used for advertising and information display purposes. Your primary goal will be to ensure the uninterrupted functionality and optimal performance of digital screens across various locations. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the digital screen network.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of digital screens.</li><li>Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring regular inspections and servicing to prevent system downtime.</li><li>Monitor the performance and functionality of digital screens to identify any technical issues or malfunctions promptly.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary equipment, parts, and materials required for maintenance activities.</li><li>Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation for maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper procedures for installation, maintenance, and repair of digital screens.</li><li>Collaborate with the IT department and other relevant stakeholders to integrate digital screens into existing networks and systems.</li><li>Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in digital signage to optimize system performance and recommend upgrades when necessary.</li><li>Handle escalated issues and provide technical support to the maintenance team during complex problem-solving scenarios.</li><li>Analyze maintenance data and generate reports on system performance, uptime, and cost-effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will also be considered.</li><li>Proven experience in the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of digital screens, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of digital signage systems, including hardware components, software applications, and connectivity.</li><li>Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to digital screens, such as connectivity problems, display calibration, and software glitches.</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance, and foster a positive work environment.</li><li>Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on minimizing system downtime and optimizing performance.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients effectively.</li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality maintenance work and adherence to safety standards.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.</li></ul>
