<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p>About the Company<p><br></p>Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country’s crude oil production and natural gas supply.<p><br></p>Purpose of the Job<p><br></p><ul><li> To proactivley analyse, diagnosing and prepare technical reports for all rotating equipment to assure and sustain equipment performance and reliability to meet production and maintenance goals.</li></ul><p><br></p>Education &amp; Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering discipline</li><li> Minimum of 5 years experience in the mechanical engineering discipline of which a minimum of 3 years in condition monitoring and rotating equipment maintenance1</li></ul><p><br></p>Note 1 : A Mechanical Engineering graduate talent can be considered after evaluation and agreement with CFDH.<p><br></p>Main Responsibilities<p><br></p><ul><li> Provide proactive technical support to site condition monitoring team.</li><li> Analyse, diagnose and Review data collected by the condition monitoring specialists and provide high quality diagnostic advice to asset teams on integrity deterioration and possible root causes of deterioration.</li><li> Evaluate and ensure the mechanical integrity of rotating equipment.</li><li> Ensure data quality in SAP for both PM and CM condition monitoring activities and drive improvements in data quality.</li><li> Evaluate rotating equipment energy efficiency and GHG emissions.</li><li> Utilize Condition Monitoring tools (PI Dashboards, DPM…etc) to proactively monitor health condition of critical machines.</li><li> Provide specialist technical support and operational expertise input into new projects to assure operability and maintainability of rotating equipment.</li><li> Attend critical site activities when required.</li><li> Provide specialist expertise for trouble shooting, diagnostics analysis and remedial actions for failures and breakdowns of rotating equipment.</li><li> Provide technical input to TR activities.</li><li> Provide input for compiling major rotating equipment overhaul programme.</li><li> Develop a motivated competent Condition Monitoring team membersMaintain and improve.</li><li> Facilitate causal learning investigations and carry out reliability analysis.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Skills Required</u></strong><p><br></p>Other Job Details
