TransPerfect has global headquarters in New York, with regional headquarters in London and Hong Kong.</u></em></p><p><br></p><p><em><u>DevOps Engineer</u></em></p><p><br></p><p><em><u>TransPerfect´s Senior DevOps Engineer manages and improves the communication between the operational and development sides of the software development process. They are responsible for new product deployments, product updates on existing deployments, locating production errors, (including troubleshooting and fixing any found errors), general monitoring of the health of the deployments and making sure our customers are happy by complying to 99.9% Service Level Agreements.</u></em></p><p><br></p><p><em><u>Position responsibilities:</u></em></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Work as part of our global team comprising of Developers, Testers, and DevOps Engineers, reporting directly to our international Technology Management team.</li><li>Design, develop and test the infrastructure and monitoring of our flagship cloud-based Legal Managed Review product named ReefReview – the ultimate solution for document hosting, review, and analysis.</li><li>Enhance the TransPerfect Legal Solutions (TLS) division’s technology infrastructure Security Protocols.</li><li>Automate any manual processes that could save time and increase productivity.</li><li>Maintain and improve the TLS division’s public cloud as well as hybrid cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Management of creation, release, and configuration of Production systems.</li><li>Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of our Azure Production systems.</li><li>Work across various technologies and platforms.</li><li>Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.</li></ul><p>Required skills:</p><p>· Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).</p><p>· Expertise in Linux and Windows Administration.</p><p>· Solid understanding of Azure IAAS and Azure Automation.</p><p>· Automation and scripting using PowerShell, DSC, Bash and ARM templates.</p><p>· Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform Azure Provider</p><p>· Automation framework – Ansible</p><p>· Containers and container orchestration – Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, AKS</p><p>· Cloud Native Storage experience (Azure NetApp or Openebs)</p><p>· Git, Azure DevOps Server Build and Release Pipeline Automation, CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps Server.</p><p>· GitOps (Flux2)</p><p>· Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas and MongoDB Replica set cluster on-premise.</p><p>· Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting tools – Elastic Search, Kibana, LogStash, Datadog</p><p>· Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently.</p><p>· Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities/commitments and be flexible in a 24/7 working environment.</p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability and willingness to learn cutting-edge networking, cloud, and DevOps technologies to increase productivity and meet aggressive deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team.</li><li>Any certification is a plus.</li></ul><p>Required experience:</p><ul><li>5+ years of DevOps experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, PowerShell, C#, Linux, Windows, bash, terraform, ansible, GitOps.</li><li>3+ years of deploying, operating, and maintaining real word cloud application software, monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Elastic Search, Redis, Kafka</li></ul><p>Desired skills and experience:</p><p>· Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.</p><p>· Active Directory, Single Sign-On Servers, Exchange Server.</p><p>· Network routing and switching, Cisco ASA firewall.</p><p>· Azure Stack HCI, Nginx, HAProxy.</p><p><em>TransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.</em></p><p><em>We celebrate diversity as one of our core values and we have a clear goal: to be an inclusive workplace where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, stay and do their best work.
