About the job DevOps Engineer

Responsible for implementing and maintaining processes, tools, and methodologies for companys software development projects life cycle. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge about development life cycle, DevOps culture and its philosophy, practices, and tool. With an innovative mind and attention to details, you will be responsible for unification and automation of processes in the Software Development department. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must-have 5+ years experience as DevOps, using tools as Azure Devops and/or AWS DevOps
• Extensive knowledge of Azure tools(especially DevOps) and Integration tools( Jenkins, Buddy, Go CD ) 
• Familiarity with other tools used in Software Development lifecycle (ex: Git, JIRA, Selenium, Postman, Docker, Puppet, Splunk, etc.) 
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project. 
• High-level understanding of Web technologies and Programming languages like Javascript and others. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. 
• Meticulous attention to detail.
