Job Description:

The Senior DevOps Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure and processes that support the development and deployment of software applications. They work closely with the development and operations teams to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle, from code development to production deployment.

The Senior DevOps Developer is expected to have a strong understanding of software development principles and practices, as well as experience with software development tools, including source control, build tools, and automation frameworks.

The Senior DevOps Developer is responsible for ensuring that software applications are developed and deployed efficiently and with high quality. They are also responsible for identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges in the software development process.

Responsibilities:

1.     Responsible for the deployment of product releases into the production environment.

2.     Responsible for the safe deployment of one or more product releases into the production environment.

3.     Responsible for executing the delivery and implementation plans.

4.     Troubleshooting and identifying technical problems, debugging, code tracing, and examining code (.NET, SQL) written by others and analyzing results.

5.     Utilize SQL to query databases for troubleshooting testing scenarios.

6.     Responsible for detecting and optimizing the software database structures for customer implementations.

7.     Responsible for performing tests and troubleshooting final system setups Available for Onsite projects to work alongside Project Managers, Support Team, and clients.

8.     Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.

9.     Secured access to production environments and ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

10.  Working on ways to automate and improve deployment and release processes.

11.  Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.

12.  Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
