As a global technology provider, AVL’s offerings range from simulation, virtualization and test automation for product development to ADAS/AD and vehicle software.</p><p><strong>About the Job</strong></p><p>As a member of the system engineering team, you will be working on a range of projects, setting functional strategy &amp; developping diagnostic &amp; safety concepts related to powertrain functionalities s.a combustion, after-treatement, air-path, …</p><p><strong>Main Duties, Operational Tasks, Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Definition and Development of Safety Concepts</li><li>Contribution to Risk assessments and Safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA)</li><li>Specification of requirements for safety-relevant functionalities</li><li>Interface to Software and Hardware development</li><li>Facilitating and attending to technical assessments</li><li>Development of test plans, definition of test specifications and test execution</li><li>Verification of Safety Concepts on HIL, Testbeds and in Vehicle</li><li>Contribution to R&amp;D activities</li><li>Reporting of safety critical issues to the project and the line managemen</li></ul><p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge about safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262)</li><li>Knowledge about existing safety concepts (e.g. FSC, TSC)</li><li>Knowledge about requirements development and requirements engineering</li><li>Knowledge about safety analysis techniques (FMEA, FTA, DFA)</li><li>Domain specific knowledge depending on the application (e.g. powertrain, transmission, ADAS)</li><li>Knowledge about verification and validation of safety critical systems (e.g. fault insertion testing)</li><li>Knowledge about software and electronic hardwar</li></ul><p></p>
