Job Id: 23645363<p><br></p>The Development Administration Manager is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.<p><br></p><strong>Our Vision</strong><p><br></p>Our vision is to create a positive experience for development teams, by eliminating administrative tasks and front-ending risk and control issues impeding developer productivity.<p><br></p><strong>Our Mission</strong><p><br></p>Our mission is to shield developers from administrative overheads in managing and maintaining applications by filtering out the right work efforts for the developers, carry out administrative responsibilities and project manage application’s response to technology risk and control issues.<p><br></p><strong><u>How We Will Work</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>We will treat development teams as clients.</li><li>We will take away repetitive, non-developer-centric activities from our teams and handle those activities for them in a structured, consistent fashion, with clear timelines and regular updates</li><li>We will build a knowledge base of these tasks, so that we can respond promptly and efficiently</li><li>We will support all communication styles that work for developers – chat, mail, calls.</li><li>We will enable developers to raise issues with minimum effort to track progress, our own productivity – and we will use the statistics that we generate, to drive automation of the key developer pain points</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p>Development Administration Manager works with application managers from a portfolio to reduce and eliminate the administrative work surrounding application development and maintenance. Candidate also leads junior analysts from the team. The role requires excellent knowledge on how are applications of various nature, (for example internally developed applications, vendor applications, etc) and the risk and control issues that encumbers the applications. Its necessary to understand latest DevSecOps practices followed by development teams. Being a pseudo Application Manager, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate resourcefulness and be able to build relationship with various stakeholders. A passion to identify improvement areas and be able to define good standard practices on what could otherwise be reactive approach to risk and control issues the development teams generally encounter.<p><br></p><ul><li>Partner with Application development teams to complete administrative tasks, for a suite of applications</li><li>Ensure scorecard compliance</li><li>Quickly and efficiently liaise with the correct teams</li><li>Ensure task completion on time, by updating the relevant systems or by means of following up development and support teams</li><li>Manage a small team with similar responsibilities</li><li>Create knowledge bases on repeatable tasks</li><li>Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks</li><li>Create and distribute status reports</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>10+ Years of IT experience, of which 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or production support or Dev Ops role</li><li>Good in communication and ability to liaise with large number of stakeholders</li><li>Good understanding of SDLC process, Dev ops tools and ability to understand system architectures</li><li>Good understanding of Technology teams’ governance and layout of administrative support teams like finance</li><li>Demonstrated decision making ability</li><li>Ability to plan and organize workload; adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization</li><li>Experience in Capital Markets domain – good to have</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Technical skills:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Jira or equivalent tracking tool</li><li>Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to expert</li><li>Experience in standard incident management, problem management and PPM tools</li><li>Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, Git and deployment tools – good to have</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><br></p>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
