Dev-Ops Engineer

Job Description

<p>HYVE is seeking a skilled Dev-Ops Engineer to join our Team. We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining our software development and product lifecycle, ensuring high software quality, and enhancing the productivity of our development teams.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Implement, maintain, and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.</li><li>Manage and automate our tech stack using a variety of scripting and programming languages.</li><li>Collaborate with the software engineering team to develop scalable software solutions.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents while ensuring high availability of the platform.</li><li>Implement system and application-level security best practices.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>2-4 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.</li><li>Experience with version control systems like Git.</li><li>Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.</li><li><span>Linux/Ubuntu Administration</span></li><li>Experience deploying solutions using Kubernetes and OpenShift</li><li>Experience using Docker and building Docker Files</li><li>Knowledge of IBM Products such as Cognos, DB2, Information Server</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Installation</li><li>Understanding of DevOps Operations (Jenkins, Docker Registries, Repos, etc.)</li><li>Understanding of Networks and Network Security</li><li>Experience with Informatica is considered a plus.</li></ul><p></p>
