Design Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the design process for the project, ensuring that it is aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the design team, ensuring that they work collaboratively and efficiently to produce high-quality design deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project design management plan, ensuring that it is compliant with local and international regulations and project standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that design deliverables meet their requirements and expectations.
• Review and evaluate design deliverables, ensuring that they meet project goals, quality standards, and schedule.
• Manage design-related issues, risks, and opportunities, ensuring that they are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
• Ensure that all design-related activities comply with project standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that design deliverables are properly integrated into project plans and schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in design management for large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of design processes and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Proven track record of successfully managing design processes for large infrastructure projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
• Willingness to work on a demanding project schedule and to relocate to North West Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project.
