Design Coordinator – Interior Design
Job Description
<strong>Requirements:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Preferably an Arabic speaker.</li><li>Valid Dubai driving license is mandatory.</li><li>Proven experience as a Design Coordinator or a similar role.</li><li>Must have previous experiences with interior design company or property developers</li><li>Strong understanding of design principles, processes, and practices.</li><li>Proficient in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team and liaise effectively with external stakeholders.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Familiarity with the educational and construction industries is a plus.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.</li><li>Coordinate and manage the design process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.</li><li>Assist in preparing design briefs, concept proposals, and presentations.</li><li>Conduct research on design trends, materials, and innovative solutions for educational play spaces.</li><li>Review and evaluate design proposals, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of design materials and services.</li><li>Assist in preparing detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project plans.</li><li>Monitor and ensure adherence to design guidelines, industry standards, and project specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to ensure design implementation aligns with project schedules and budgets.</li><li>Maintain and organize design files, samples, and documentation for reference and future use.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design.</li><li>Support in resolving design-related issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.<br></li></ul>
