Role Purpose

We are currently looking for a Deputy Program Director across a large program in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating high levels of project and program leadership, including client and stakeholder engagement, robust commercial knowledge and a deep understanding of managing multi-faceted, complex schemes from start to finish.

What this job involves

• Program Leadership for a scheme comprising multiple standalone major projects.
• Responsible for the planning, structuring, leading and delivery of this multi-billion dollar program of work containing standalone as well as integrated projects and sub-projects.
• Provides strategic leadership linking the client drivers, our business objectives and the project needs.
• Oversees the program of projects from early design phase through to successful completion, managing a diverse team at all levels, taking responsibility for overall delivery.
• Demonstrating strong diplomacy skills in managing complex stakeholders and consultants.
• Supporting core business values in delivery of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence.
• Leading from the front on all matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
• Managing resource allocation, mobilization and demobilization, ensuring the right people are in the right positions.
• Creating a culture of accountability and ownership of projects in the program. Empowering project leads to deliver projects.

• Previous experience working in the Middle East on major programs.
• Degree in related subject.
• Further professional memberships / chartered status expected at this level.
• Experience in design & construction for high rise buildings.
• Experience in leading large, multinational and diverse program delivery teams.
• Proven major project leadership skills with good knowledge of business analysis.
• Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills.
