<p><strong><u>Job Purpose:</u></strong></p><p>Assist the company in controlling risks, improving the effectiveness of internal control and governance process and minimizing fraud risks.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Utilizing the results of the risk assessment to develop long term and current year internal audit plans.</li><li>Present the internal audit plan for the approval of Audit Committee.</li><li>Perform internal audits as per the approved plan to ensure the company meets its strategic, financial, operational and compliance objectives.</li><li>Perform and document the audit procedures in compliance with the department’s audit methodology and best practices.</li><li>Prepare reports on control deficiencies as identified during the audit and make recommendations to mitigate risks and add value.</li><li>Discuss the internal audit observations with the auditee and obtained their remarks with the corrective action plan against each observation, as applicable.</li><li>Present the findings of the internal audit assignments to the Audit Committee.</li><li>Conduct follow-up assignments and report to the Audit Committee, the findings on the status of implementation of the recommendations raised in the final report.</li><li>Perform special or ad-hoc assignments as directed and approved by the Audit Committee.</li><li>Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring that they are up to date with all legislations and best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Internationally recognized qualification i.e., CIA, CISA, ACCA, or CPA is a must.</li><li>Minimum 10 years’ experience in the internal audits.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Skills Requirements: </u></strong></p><ul><li>MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.</li><li>Report writing and Presentational skills.</li><li>Analytical abilities.</li><li>Initiator and innovator.</li><li>Relationship building &amp; Management.</li><li>Integrity &amp; Objectivity.</li><li>Teamwork and Cooperation.</li><li>Good interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
