Dental Assistant

Job Description

• Responsible for the soiled dental instruments in the rigid container and have it checked by the CSSD technician before it is transported to CSSD Section.
• Prepare dental surgery materials/instruments for all dental procedure.
• Make an 18 film, full -mouth radiographic survey.
• Take occlusal, panoramic and cepahlometric radiographs.
• Mixing and preparing all dental materials for all dental procedures.
• Manage medical, radiographic and appointment records.
• Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Skills

• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-stress and fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of dental health education subjects
• Must be emotionally stable and in good physical health.
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint Presentations, Outlook and Word.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to speak clearly in both Arabic and English.
