We seek to generate a place of inspiration and growth for everyone.Be a leader in a technologically dynamic organization<br><br></strong><strong>Position: Tech Director<br><br></strong><strong>Experience : 14- 20 years<br><br></strong><strong>Location: Saudi Arabia<br><br></strong><strong>What will you get to do?<br></strong><ul><li> Manage a group of accounts or a portfolio</li><li> Plan, monitor and control Delivery activities accordingly to accounts’ needs and team´s capacity.</li><li> Ensuring that projects are organized and executed consistently in accordance to standards and processes set by Globant. Overseeing the design, product, development, and implementation of engineering projects, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.</li><li> Own the overall P &amp; L responsibilities of the accounts or portfolio being managed and make efforts towards optimizing account´s margin and revenue</li><li> Lead a bunch of PMs and help them achieve high complexity accounts goals</li><li> Coach / Mentor PMs of a lower seniority to help them perform their responsibilities effectively</li><li> Provide accounts´ status reports according to client´s and company´s needs. Providing technical consulting and guidance to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their engineering projects.</li><li> Have frequent interaction with appropriate stakeholders (Steering meetings) and provide visibility and accurate information that impacts client´s business.</li><li> Negotiating yearly business plans with customers.</li><li> Consistently look for opportunities to improve project performance and identify action plans</li><li> Seek and detect business growth opportunities into the accounts, with others areas or stakeholders</li><li> Participate in building proposals for new customers<br><br></li></ul><strong>What do we expect from you?<br></strong><ul><li> At least 14 years of management experience in IT services organization with proven leadership skills</li><li> Excellent academic record and proven experience on Delivery Management of a bunch of accounts / portfolios</li><li> Good experience with Agile methodologies and past experience executing Agile projects</li><li> Has managed portfolios of $1M or larger in the past</li><li> Managed multiple project teams in a distributed delivery model in various geographic locations with a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget </li><li> Strong client facing abilities including the ability to handle scope issues.</li><li> Past experience in financial management of accounts including forecasting, budgeting and P &amp; L management</li><li> Good technical background and understanding of the latest technology trends driving the IT services market</li><li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships across the business, stakeholders and technical teams</li><li> Strong decision maker and proactive self-starter</li><li> Excellent negotiation skills</li><li> Proven analytical skills &amp; ability to deal with complexities</li><li> Strong planning abilities (both strategic &amp; tactical) <br><br></li></ul><strong>What will help you succeed: <br></strong><ul><li>Believe and love what you do. </li><li>Have imagination and love innovating. </li><li>Being flexible &amp; goal oriented. </li><li>Being capable of taking a step back to look at a bigger picture. </li><li>Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers, delegate tasks effectively, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to explain technical concepts to clients, stakeholders, and team members. </li><li>Analytical thinking: The ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions. </li><li>Technical expertise: A deep understanding of engineering concepts and principles, as well as the ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements. </li><li>Problem solving: The ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems, both independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and to work under tight deadlines. </li><li>Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements, and to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. </li><li>Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to engineering projects, with a focus on quality and accuracy. </li><li>Negotiation: being able to handle different type of conservations <br><br></li></ul>At Globant we believe that an inclusive culture and a diverse environment makes us stronger.
