Provisioning ourselves in the Emerging & Frontier Markets at Brokerage Firms (Retail & Institutional), Banks, Clearing Members, and Wealth/Asset Managers spanning Morocco to Indonesia. </p><br><p> </p><br><p><strong>Job Overview or brief description</strong></p><br><p>The DB support engineer will perform support activities related to the company users & subscription Databases for both corporate & retail customers.</p><br><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>Troubleshoot & fix reported issues related to users & subscriptions</li><br><li>Monitor the production & UAT DBs for health purposes</li><br><li>Resolving DB-related tickets and reporting back to customers</li><br><li>Supporting existing & new corporate clients in new projects concerning users & subscriptions</li><br></ul><br><p> </p><br><p><strong>Qualifications and requirements</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent</li><br><li>0-2 years of related experience</li><br><li>Good understanding of relational DBs, especially MSSQL and/or Oracle</li><br><li>Basic knowledge of DB-related queries & scripting</li><br><li>Basic understanding of Database Security</li><br></ul><br><p> </p><br><p><strong>Competencies (In order of importance)</strong></p><br><ul><br><li>Attention to detail & extreme accuracy</li><br><li>Good communication skills </li><br><li>Strong math skills</li><br><li>Good problem solving & logic skills</li></ul>
