Job Description

<p>Our company is searching for experienced Data Governance Consultant , Work across client control functions, internal audit, and business lines to support the implementation of Data Policies, Standards and Processes that are required as part of the Data Governance Framework . Recommend, design and develop data driven analysis using statistical &amp; advanced analytics methodologies to solve business problems . Interview clients, gather and document business requirements .</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Providing recommendations on how to implement or improve data governance policies and procedures</li><li>Creating data governance plans that outline policies, procedures, and standards for data management</li><li>Reviewing existing data governance programs to identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Providing guidance on the selection of technologies to support data governance efforts such as data dictionaries and metadata repositories</li><li>Recommending policies and procedures for data security, retention, and disposal</li><li>Facilitating workshops to educate staff about best practices for data management</li><li>Explaining concepts related to data governance to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand</li><li>Conducting research and producing reports on topics related to data governance such as trends in data usage, data security breaches, and emerging technologies</li><li>Developing policies that ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards such as NDMO</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or information Management from a recognized and approved program.&nbsp;</li><li>At least 5-7 years of work experience of relevant experience</li><li>Working knowledge of data management industry best practices such as DAMA, CMMI DMM, EDM Council DCAM</li><li>Have practical track records in data governance practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data governance.</li><li>CDMP Certified</li><li>Must be fluent in English &amp; Arabic</li></ul><p><br></p>
