Job Description

Data Center Power Engineer<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Evaluate and assess power density in data center racks to optimize power distribution and ensure efficient utilization of resources.</li><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to provide backup power during outages and ensure continuous operations.</li><li>Oversee the operation and maintenance of generators, ensuring they are properly maintained and ready to provide backup power when needed.</li><li>Monitor and manage electrical distribution panels to ensure safe and reliable power distribution throughout the data center.</li><li>Install and maintain Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) for seamless transfer of power between primary and backup sources, minimizing downtime.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Experience.</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>4 years of minimum experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of data center power supply systems, including racks power density evaluation, UPS systems, generators, electrical distribution panels, and ATS devices.</li><li>Experience in evaluating power density in data center racks and optimizing power distribution.</li><li>Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining UPS systems, generators, electrical distribution panels, and ATS devices.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot power-related issues and perform repairs or replacements when necessary.</li><li>Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education:</strong><p><br></p>Graduate of Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or diploma in Mechanical / equivalent<p><br></p>Vertical: Engineering
