<strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Role Purpose:</strong><p><br></p>To ensure optimum operation, performance, security, integrity, and enhancement with business teams to ensure achievement of data center capacity.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong><p><br></p><strong>1-Design &amp; Deployment:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Prepare plans for installation of data center according to requirements.</li><li>Research new designs for an advanced data center.</li><li>Maintain all business procedures associated with assets and capacity.</li><li>Monitor all functional resources required for growth and ensure appropriate functioning.</li><li>Coordinate with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into infrastructure.</li><li>Monitor all Data Center functional projects and track appropriate progress. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>2-Reporting, Compliance, Security &amp; Analysis:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Assess the current systems architecture recommend solutions for improvement.</li><li>Deliver required reports to close management and audit requirements.</li><li>Assess performance of security risk assessments on DC technologies &amp; facilities for information security processes.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>3-Storage &amp; Backup Administration:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Manage problems to fix root causes to proactively prevent recurrence.</li><li>Advise best practices to ensure that customer’s storage/backup solutions are working efficiently.</li><li>Manage escalated customer issues and resolve them without further escalation. </li><li>Troubleshoot storage, backup and restore failures on multiple platforms with varied configurations. </li><li>Perform data restorations for servers, file systems, and databases.</li><li>Install and configure backup applications on client servers.</li><li>Improve current processes and exercise judgment in the decision-making process. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>4-Systems Management:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>Monitor end to end Bupa technology services, systems, networks, applications, and online services.</li><li>Incident identification, logging, and service requests creation</li><li>Monitor Service desk tickets as per agreed operational and service levels agreements.</li><li>Monitor and report technology services, systems, networks, applications, and online services interruptions. </li><li>Perform patch run activities and ensure successful completion status.</li><li>Support with Disaster recovery and business continuity plans.</li><li>Maintains up-to-date documentation and workflows to assist in services.</li><li>Create guidelines to produce forms, checklists, and templates required to perform Network Operations Center activities.</li><li>Ensure all Network Operations Center activities and solutions are in compliance with company approved policies, applicable industry standards and best practices.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li>CDCMP certification preferred</li><li>DCOM certification preferred</li><li>Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA Preferred</li><li>Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP Preferred</li><li>Solarwinds Certified Professional Preferred</li><li>Commvault Certified Professional Preferred</li><li>Cross knowledge with NetAPP Preferred</li><li>ITIL</li><li>PMP</li><li>Planning</li><li>Design</li><li>Project Management</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Communication</li><li>Decision-making</li><li>Problem-solvinga<br></li></ul><p><br></p>Education<p><br></p>Bachelor’s Degree in IT field or Electrical Engineering
