The role holder forms part of the Enterprise Architecture and contributing to its maturity. Leading the data development and data quality teams in the hospital, designs and maintains data architecture and data management framework including processes used to plan, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control and purge data. Must develop models, policies, rules and standards to govern the organization use of data. Acts as an evangelist of data value in the organization. Leads a team both dedicated and virtual, to handle the framework and the provision of data to be consumed by BI and Research teams, and has profound knowledge as a healthcare data expert.<p><br></p>Expiry:2023-07-31Minimum Experience:10 years<p><br></p>Posted 10 hours ago<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Translates business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations and transformations, databases, and data warehouses.</li><li>Defines the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, materials, and employees.</li><li>Defines reference architecture, which is a pattern others can follow to create and improve data systems.</li><li>Defines data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition.</li><li>Collaborates and coordinates with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors.<br><br></li></ul> <strong>Accountabilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, follows design guidelines and daily work assigned by the Enterprise Architect.</li><li>Manages the team of ETL (Extraction Transform Load) developers.<br><br></li></ul> <strong>Role-Specific Job Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, responsible for maintaining and using the EA tool and follow EA principles.</li><li>Ensures improving the maturity of the Enterprise Architecture practice as per best practices.</li><li>Participates in cross-functional teams and committees as appropriate.</li><li>Designs models of data processing that implement the intended business model.</li><li>Develops diagrams representing key data entities and their relationships.</li><li>Generates a list of components needed to build the designed system.</li><li>Generates status reports on the progress of the Data governance activities.<br><br></li></ul> <strong>Educational Qualification:</strong> <ul><li>Required:</li><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering field or similar</li></ul><li>Desired:</li><ul><li>Masters in Software Engineering, or related subject<br><br></li></ul></ul> <strong>Specialist Certifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Required:</li><li>TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks certification.</li><li>Certifications in data management environments from Microsoft, Oracle, Informatics, etc.</li><li>Desired:</li><li>Enterprise Architecture tools (Mega Hopex preferable)</li><li>DBA certification</li><li>Certifications on software development environments</li><li>Health Information Management<br><br></li></ul> Experience:<p><br></p><ul><li>Required:</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Data Design, Data Management</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare data management</li><li>Experience in Enterprise Architecture roles</li><li>Outstanding management of SQL language</li><li>Knowledge of ETL concepts, tools and data structures</li><li>Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting</li><li>Experience working in Cloud based data management solutions</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong methodological approach to work</li><li>Desired:</li><li>Experience on Data governance frameworks</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Clear understanding of Hospital business models</li><li>Strong project management skills</li><li>Ability to manage a development team<br><br></li></ul> <em><strong>Note: Only relevant & shortlisted profiles will be contacted for interview.
