Synopsis
To deliver standardised weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to track Etihad Cargo business performance. To translate data in to accurate, timely and actionable insights that allowing the commercial teams to develop strategies to improve sales performance (market share, tonnage and revenue). To support the implementation of the commercial overhaul strategy by developing a best-in-class analytics platform that delivers incremental value to Etihad Cargo.
Accountabilities
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the point of contact for commercial analysts within Etihad Cargo and enable a strong partnership with key stakeholders.
- Ensure analytics toolsets are being utilized in the best way and ensure the continuity of the operation.
- Manage and co-ordinate the planning, definitions and delivery of commercial analytics projects and refinements.
- Maintain a backlog of prioritized work reflecting the key business drivers of improving commercial performance.
- Identify insights into Etihad Cargo performance and lead change informed by data insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to transform data into insights and make data-driven recommendations on how to action analysis.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders at appropriate points in ensure understanding of requests as well as proper interpretation and use of resulting analysis.
- Ensure data quality standards across Commercial analytics toolsets.
- Liaise with enterprise analytics when appropriate for more complex analyses and contribute data science efforts where required.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years hands on experience and proven successful track record in similar role, preferably in airline industry.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in data analysis, database management and data visualisation.
- Technical know-how in PowerBI, and other relevant systems
- SQL, R and Python  Desirable
- Project Management Certification – Desirable
