Improving Lives. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic<strong> Customs Coordinator </strong>to be based in the<strong> DGF – Customs Compliance</strong>. In this role, the successful candidate will support the Customs operations team on customs activities and Value added services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>· </strong>Liaise with all the ministries and comply with their rules and regulations and obtain all the controlling authority approvals for the customers.</p><p><strong>· </strong>To audit and validate the customs declaration and exit certificate document, to ensure 100% accuracy prior submission to Customs to avoid the correction charges.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Liaise with customs authorities to ensure that all problems and bottlenecks are resolved appropriately to achieve smooth operations.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Perform other duties &amp; responsibilities from time to time as may be assigned by the team to ensure adherence to timelines and processes.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Additional Responsibilities</p><p><strong>· </strong>Submission of the Air Export Exit Entry certificate and obtain the claim reference number. Follow up on the pending Exits from Air export and complete closure in Customs system.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Archival of the filing copy of the Exit Certificate that is submitted to customs.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Apply for the online inspection booking in the system for cargo inspection at the Freezone gates and advise the coordinator on the booking schedule.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Apply for the local gate entry pass for the cargo to enter the Freezone, through online application.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Follow up with Customs officials through email for the approval of the customs declarations and amendment and cancellation.</p><p><strong>· </strong>Apply through online application for Dubai Municipality approvals for declarations that need approval from the controlling authority.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Skills, Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>· Graduate</p><p>· UAE Valid and active driving license</p><p>· 1-2 Years Experience</p><p>· Accuracy in customs documentation</p><p>· Compliance to customs regulations</p><p>· Good understanding of official customs processes and basic customs law</p><p><br></p><p><strong>We offer:</strong></p><p>· Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals.</p><p>· Possible further career development</p><p>· Competitive salary</p><p><strong>Why join DHL Global Forwarding?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are part of Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
