Job Title: Creative Strategist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Creative Strategist to join our dynamic creative agency. In this role, you will work closely with our clients and internal teams to develop creative strategies that align with our clients’ brand objectives and drive business results. You will be responsible for understanding our clients’ target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape to develop strategic recommendations that inform the creative direction for various marketing campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong creative flair and a deep understanding of marketing and branding principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their marketing objectives, target audiences, and business goals.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform creative strategies.
Develop and present strategic recommendations for marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and creative concepts.
Develop comprehensive creative briefs that provide clear direction for creative teams and ensure alignment with clients’ goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually refine and optimize creative strategies.
Brand Strategy:
Conduct brand audits and assessments to identify brand strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop brand positioning and messaging strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and resonate with target audiences.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop brand identity, including visual elements such as logos, colors, typography, and imagery.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
Campaign Strategy:
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define campaign objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop creative strategies and concepts for integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and other marketing channels.
Provide strategic guidance and feedback to creative teams throughout the creative development process, from concept to execution.
Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of creative strategies and provide insights for future campaign optimization.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact for strategic and creative discussions.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide strategic recommendations, and manage expectations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their feedback and incorporate it into creative strategies and concepts.
Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients based on their business objectives and needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or marketing strategy, preferably in a creative agency setting.
Deep understanding of marketing and branding principles, with the ability to develop creative strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong creativity and conceptualization skills, with the ability to develop innovative and compelling creative strategies and concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to clients and internal teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in using marketing and analytics tools, and familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in marketing and advertising.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional client service.
