Job Description:
As a Creative Director for a creative agency, you will be responsible for leading the creative team and driving the development of innovative and impactful creative concepts and strategies for various clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and target audience, and translate them into compelling creative solutions. Your role will involve overseeing the entire creative process, from conceptualization to execution, while maintaining the quality and consistency of the creative work. You will also provide creative leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide creative leadership and strategic direction to the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and other creatives, to develop compelling and effective creative concepts and strategies for clients.
Collaborate closely with clients and account managers to understand their business goals, target audience, and creative requirements, and develop creative solutions that meet their objectives.
Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with clients’ brand positioning and communication strategies.
Oversee the entire creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring that all creative work is of high quality, visually appealing, and aligned with clients’ brand guidelines.
Provide feedback, direction, and guidance to the creative team, including constructive critique and mentorship, to help them improve their skills, performance, and creative output.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, creative technologies, and industry best practices, and apply them to create cutting-edge and impactful creative solutions for clients.
Collaborate with other departments, such as account management, production, and strategy, to ensure that creative deliverables are aligned with the overall marketing and communication strategies.
Present and pitch creative concepts to clients, and effectively communicate the rationale behind creative decisions and strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of creative campaigns and projects, and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, communications, or related field.
Proven experience (7+ years) in creative direction or leadership roles in a creative agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative work across various platforms and industries.
Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with clients’ brand strategies and objectives.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team to achieve their best performance.
Expertise in design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling, with proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles, with the ability to translate clients’ business goals into creative strategies and concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative ideas, concepts, and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and manage relationships with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market, cultural nuances, and consumer behaviors is a plus.
