Job Description
The Creative Art Director will contribute professional value in leading the media team including: graphic design, video editor, and photographers team across the wide scope. The Art professional role would be extended from the technical creative supervision, quality control, and team development up to strategic advancement of the creative department; including growth plans and capabilities/capacity optimization strategies.
This leadership role includes assigning teams, inspiring those teams to produce exceptional concepts and final work consistently, and working closely with account management to ensure Primavera’s world-class clients are deferentially satisfied with our delivered creative quality, the value of our services, and our responsiveness to their needs.
Your responsibility will be integrated into collaboration with other department heads. You will lead the different team leaders and report directly to the company’s senior management.
Professional Responsibilities
A. Creative Domain
- Generate clear ideas and concepts.
- Produce sketches, storyboards, and roughs to visualize ideas.
- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.
- Manage workloads to maximize productivity.
- Cooperate with the rest of the other team across different types of media.
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions.
- Present finalized ideas and concepts to account managers and the marketing team.
- Present completed ideas to clients/team members.
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
- Create and Draw Storyboards that required clients to persuade them to choose our offers in all types of projects (TV Commercial ads, Media production. VR, Real estate projects, Social media designs, 3D, Presentation, etc.
- Research and prepare new ideas and new ways of making the storyboards required by the scripts, and presentations.
- Using traditional & technological approaches to creating designs in either a 3D or 2D environment.
- Creating detailed key designs from a written brief.
- Researching concept subjects, styles & genres.
B. Management Domain
- Support account and project management activities as needed.
- Develop positive and sustainable relationships with other professionals in different departments.
- Work with other departments’ management to achieve the ambitious growth plans of the company.
- Experience in recruitment, managing and mentoring a team, and developing effective working relationships with colleagues.
- A desire to engage with and contribute to an existing culture, process, and activity portfolio.
- Provide written and face-to-face feedback for quarterly and annual performance reviews, as well as ongoing feedback throughout the year (written when requested).
- Interview prospective creative candidates.
- Assure that all creative personnel is trained and, where needed, mentored to maintain the standards and expectations of Primavera and the client, and to meet their own career goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, and other relevant fields.
- +5 years of creative direction experience with proven working experience.
- Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, social media designs, and package design.
- Digital experience, social and emerging technologies.
- A solid understanding of design, copy, and web practices.
- Have in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
- Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, or other visual design tools.
- Must be a creative, strategic thinker, and team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
