The purpose of this role is to assist the legal team by providing basic legal support and contributing to the workload of the team or department to which the Trainee Lawyer is allocated. Experience and exposure through these tasks allow the Trainee Lawyer to develop the key skills required to become a lawyer.<p><br></p><strong>Job Title:</strong><p><br></p>Corporate Lawyer<p><br></p><strong>Job Description:</strong><p><br></p>Job Description:<p><br></p><ul><li> Undertakes legal research. </li><li> Undertakes basic negotiation, review and drafting of contracts. </li><li> Attends meetings and calls with senior lawyers, takes notes and undertakes follow up actions. </li><li> Demonstrates the ability to provide assistance in basic legal and procedural areas. </li><li> Drafts and proofreads documents and presentations. </li><li> Develops professional relationships and client skills; the Trainee Lawyer will learn to build working -relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including becoming confident in front of such stakeholders and quickly earning their trust. </li><li> Ensures that client matter files are kept up to date with correspondence and documents. </li><li> Participates in the legal department’s marketing and networking strategies as directed. </li><li> Conducts general administrative tasks alongside other trainees or legal assistants. </li><li> Develops and delivers training, and legal risk management initiatives, to assist management in strategically managing legal risks (e.g., business training, legal updates, regulatory newsletters, etc.)</li><li> Supports implementation of best practices in compliance, contract management, intellectual property, data privacy and M&amp;A. </li><li> Helps co -ordinate projects. </li></ul><p><br></p>Job Requirements:<p><br></p><ul><li> Faculty of Law, English Section. </li><li> Should be at least three or four years of relevant corporate/commercial experience. Media is a plus. </li><li> Proficiency using Microsoft Office Package. </li><li> Strong oral and written communication skills in both Arabia and English.
