Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Oversee and manage all financial and tax-related functions within the organization.

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

● Prepare and submit timely VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax laws and regulations.

● Handle the preparation of company financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

● Liaise with IRS and other tax authorities, responding to inquiries, and providing necessary documentation as required.

● Coordinate the outsourcing of financial and tax-related processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.

● Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls and identify areas for improvement.

● Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise management on potential implications and strategies.

● Provide guidance and support to sales teams on taxation matters related to sales transactions and contracts.

● Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial statements.

Skills

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and tax management, preferably in a similar role.

● Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT regulations, and taxation laws.

● Prepare and implement various accounting treatments as per IFRS.

● Proven ability to conduct internal audits and implement effective controls.

● Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

● Preferably with Relevant certifications (CPA,CFA) will be a plus.
