Purpose of the job
Implementing the Innovation portfolio marketing strategies, plans and roadmap in conjunction with the Core VAS & Innovation team to meet organizational and agreed company objectives. Responsible for the commercial performance of Direct operator billing, Mobile Applications, OPEN APIs and Other Innovations initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
– Implement the annual marketing plan in conjunction with the Core VAS team, which details the key initiatives and innovations, tactical marketing projects and commercial propositions that will be implemented during the year, focusing on organizational strategy and identifying new revenue opportunities based on analysis of worldwide trends in the telecom world.
– Responsible for the commercial performance of the portfolio of services in terms of Revenues, Acquisitions and Retention, including Direct Operator Billing, Mobile Applications, OPEN APIs and other Innovation initiatives.
– Specify market requirements for current and future products and services within the managed portfolio by conducting market research, field visits, competition monitoring and following worldwide trends in the VAS telecom field.
– Identify new revenue opportunities in the market and direct marketing plans to launch new products and services to grab these opportunities.
– Use all available market data to research and launch new innovative VAS products and services that can meet organizational objectives.
– Manage the entire product and services portfolio life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities and commercial initiatives.
– Manage all aspects of product communications Online, Outdoors, descriptive content, CS scripts, and all other touchpoints with potential and existing customers.
– Analyze and develop potential strategic partner relationships with third party suppliers necessary for developing new products and services and deciding on the business model for these alliances as well as dealing directly with other segments and teams within Marketing and other departments.
– Develop specific product positioning, brand identity and communication that differentiates the managed portfolio of products from the products of competition.
– Plan and supervise the launch of new products and services and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan to ensure that the best launch conditions are met.
– Liaise with the communication department, Sales and other internal departments to ensure that all parties are aligned and have a clear vision of the marketing objectives in order to meet targets.
– Develop and implement a go-to-market plan with monthly animation programs for products and services, as well as working with all departments such as technology and customer service to execute these plans.
– Handle project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation and life cycle.
– Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.
– Develop and conduct specialized training on new products launched and raise awareness & application of relevant product applications.
