This code sits at the heart of our stacks, and the impact you will have by improving it will be transformative and game changing. The Core Java Developer works in collaboration with Architects, Product Owners and Business Analysts, to solve real-world challenges. The Core Java Developer time allocation is as follows; 90% working on code for user stories, and 10% working on deployment matters and QA support.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Capabilities:</strong></p><p>• Design & Development: Code Foundation API using Java Spring Boot.</p><p>• Communication & Collaboration: Listen to the ideas and concerns of others to develop an understanding of how their ideas relate to others and act to address concerns.</p><p>• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop risk management plans/processes and successfully implement/operate them.</p><p>• Agile Ways of Working: Deep personal motivation to participate in Agile ceremonies.</p><p>• Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to look at problems from different points of view and try to find solutions.</p><p>• Digital Literacy: Experiment with new technologies and tell colleagues about the benefits.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Be a part of a Scrum team working on API development following SOLID API design principles.</p><p>• Lead “Filters and Parsers” development and integration, working with other developers and product owners.</p><p>• Responsible for debugging within a complex environment that includes multiple connected systems.</p><p>• Create, maintain and improve file parsers which allow a variety of formats to pivot to and from bilingual XLIFF.</p><p>• Design and develop innovative new functionalities based on user stories written from new use case scenarios.</p><p>• Research possible solutions for identified gaps to streamline functionality.</p><p>• Own and drive larger initiatives, including defining milestones and deliverables and progress reporting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills, Experience and Education:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent</p><p>• Experience working with the Java platform as a Developer.</p><p>• Experience working in Agile/Scrum model.</p><p>• Experience of working in large projects involving multiple parties including Project Managers and third-party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutions.</p><p>• Experience with architecture, design, development, deployment, testing, and integration of enterprise-wide applications using Java.</p><p>• Experience designing API specifications.</p><p>• Experience with a wide variety of continuous integration and source control tools.</p><p>• Proven track record of successful implementation of all project life cycle stages from requirements gathering through implementation and enhancements.</p><p>• Experience working with data interchange and data management (i.e. ETL processes, database interaction).</p><p>• Understand the fundamentals of DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline.</p><p>• Experience in building APIs for B2B, B2C product solutions.</p><p>• Working experience in build tools like Maven, unit testing frameworks like Junit/TestNG Essential.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired:</strong></p><p>• Experience with JIRA and Bitbucket is a plus.</p><p>• Experience with XLIFF is a plus.</p><p>• LSP industry experience, Enterprise, Legacy application integration experience is a plus.</p>
