Job Description:

Business Title: Copywriter, EMEA Center of Excellence
This role will be responsible for the creation of copy for all campaigns across the EMEA region. Working within the EMEA Marketing Center of Excellence team, this role will be solely responsible for the creation of copy for marketing materials for a variety of marketing channels. This will require a sound understanding of technology products, solutions, and environments across the EMEA IT (Information Technology) vendor portfolio. Copywriting is the foundation of our EMEA Marketing Campaigns, this role will be required to manage a fast-paced workload and a high volume of requests. This role will report directly to the Campaign Production Lead, EMEA Marketing CoE.

Job Responsibilities:

Create appealing marketing content for multiple marketing and communication channels (i.e. articles, brochures, web content, emails, newsletters, blog posts, press releases, and video scripts) for both the Arrow brand and our vendors technologies. Be actively involved in campaign briefings. Provide valuable input on briefs, being sure to include Arrow messaging and tone of voice in all vendor campaigns and take responsibility for quality control and editing. Carefully review and fully understand campaign briefs to ensure that the scope of the campaign is clearly defined and the outcome is identified. Ability to write about a variety of topics, including Security, Cloud, Networking, Data Intelligence and Data Centre technologies. Coordinate with EMEA Marketing Strategists to ensure vendor messaging is accurately interpreted and relayed. Maintain a consistent voice in all creative content and ensure it adheres to corporate messaging and style guidelines. Edit and proofread content developed by others within the company for spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and accuracy. Manage multiple deliverables and deadlines efficiently. Collaborate and work closely with all individuals and teams across the business to ensure campaign SLAs are adhered too. Work closely with Campaign Production and creative members of the team to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project, design style and corporate templates. Provide general support to the creative services, campaigns, and enablement teams. Research industry and industry-related topics to develop new and relevant content for innovative campaigns. Demonstrate strength in adapting and differentiating existing vendor content and incorporating Arrow brand and voice into vendor campaigns.
Facilitate technical writing projects with approved third-party agencies/consultants.

Principal Accountabilities:

Believe in the concept of making technology accessible and understood by all. Create and develop copy that captures Arrow at the heart. Adapt the way in which technology is communicated by making sure our work is something everyone can understand. Find the balance between needing more context and reducing complexity. Understand and continually develop knowledge of Arrow and our role within the channel in order to include value added messaging in all vendor campaigns. Oversees writing, editing, and authenticating of technical and promotional materials including application papers, product descriptions, data sheets, specification books, conference presentations and brochures. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to create content for use in advertising, direct, mail, publications, email, or web campaigns with direction from supervisor. Proof & Edit Content: Provides detailed proofing and editing at stages of a project and is responsible for final editing approval prior to supervisor approval. Creative input & Brainstorming: Gives input on creative brief and effectively provides team with creative ideas. Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style and grammatical usage required for documents. Prepares multimedia presentations. Selects graphics to be incorporated in literature.

Experience / Education

Typically requires a 4 year degree and 1–2 years of experience or a 2 year degree and equivalent related experience. IT industry and B2B experience an advantage. Previous experience of working with corporate brand guidelines and applying tone of voice to all copy. Experience in handling and managing copy briefs and producing attractive content to motivate audiences. Exceptional skills in proofreading and grammar to ensure accurate content production. Strong project management skills and a team player.
