<p><strong><em><u>Job Purpose</u></em></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Evaluate, maintain and improve efficiency and processes in the area of petrochemical logistics under Commercial department of Petrochemicals for export and import of the liquid products. Monitor documentation flow, distribution and transportation arrangements, inventory planning and reconciliation, Customs Broker and Inspection company engagement and supervision as well as managing interface with Terminal, Storage Companies, ADCo and CPChem supply chain groups.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Key Accountabilities</u></em></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Explore and support cost effective and safety enhancement initiatives.</li><li>Monitor work processes related issues (including product handling safety and compliance) and implementing appropriate actions to facilitate timely and accurate handling of product orders and deliveries.</li><li>Align and monitor the workflow of marine carriers, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure efficient shipping operations and timely product delivery to customers.</li><li>Ensures appropriate and timely responses are provided to customer’s demands, queries, and complaints.</li><li>Review quarterly and yearly the logistics performance and KPI’s with external parties (i.e., Chevron Shipping, terminal operators, and shipping lines)</li><li>To develop and maintain the best strategies to mitigate gaps in delivering the product and to the customer and work with all stakeholders.</li><li>Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.</li><li>Establishing and working on an inventory strategy to analyze the storage capacity for a replenishment at storage sites.</li><li>Perform a troubleshooting exercise for vessel loading issues with SME’s and off plot as needed.</li><li>Handling demurrage claims and other claims related to product handling.</li><li>Monitoring the KPI for marine service providers.</li><li>Lead the conduct of site audit inspections to survey and inspection service providers.</li><li>Participate in the compliance to company’s internal and external audits in relation to maritime product movements.</li><li>Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities against KPI and prepare monthly logistics report.</li><li>Function as one of the Power users for the company ERP systems</li><li>Monitor work processes related issues (including safety and compliance) and implements appropriate actions to facilitate timely and accurate handling of product orders and deliveries.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Minimum Requirements:</u></em></strong></p><p><strong><em><u><span class=”ql-cursor”> </span></u></em></strong></p><ul><li>Academic background includes a minimum of a diploma degree in Engineering, Business, and Supply Chain.</li><li>Experience: 5-7 years related experience covering Commercial/Logistic operations preferably in petrochemical sector.</li></ul><p></p>
