<strong><u>Job Description<br><br></u></strong><strong><u>Key responsibilities and accountabilities<br><br></u></strong>As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contracting process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and optimizing contract terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes. You will play a vital role in managing supplier relationships, mitigating risks, and maximizing value for the organization through effective contract management.<br><ul><li>Alignment between Legal and Procurement:</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Legal and Procurement team to understand their respective requirements, goals, and challenges.</li><li>Facilitate regular communication and meetings between the two departments to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Identify areas of misalignment or potential conflicts and work towards resolution or compromise.</li><li>Assist in developing standardized processes and templates that meet both legal and procurement requirements.</li><li>Process Alignment and Streamlining:</li><li>Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing processes and procedures in both Legal and Procurement departments.</li><li>Identify overlaps, redundancies, or gaps in the processes and recommend improvements or streamlining measures.</li><li>Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement process changes, ensuring buy-in and adherence across all locations.</li><li>Develop clear documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support the streamlined processes.</li><li>Implementation of Fusion CMS:</li><li>Work closely with the Procurement Planning Manager (PPM) to support the implantation of the Contract Management System (CMS).</li><li>Collaborate with the IT department and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation and integration of the systems.</li><li>Participate in system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing to ensure accurate and efficient functioning of the integrated systems.</li><li>Provide training and support to users in navigating and utilizing the integrated systems effectively.</li><li>Continuous Improvement:</li><li>Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to contract management and procurement systems.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and efficiency improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and gather feedback from users to identify areas for further improvement.</li><li>Proactively propose and implement enhancements to the CMS to optimize functionality and user experience.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br></u></strong><ul><li>MCIPS β Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.</li><li>Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar procurement role.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement principles, and commercial terms and conditions.</li><li>Familiarity with various contract types, such as purchase agreements, master service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.</li><li>Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to identify key contract issues and develop creative solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.</li><li>Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes.</li><li>Proficiency in contract management software and tools.<br></li></ul><em><strong><u>Unfortunately, due to the high number of responses we receive we are unable to provide feedback to all applicants.
